Have you noticed the amazing decorations around our library? These amazing artworks have been made by our after-school program and our sixth-period journalism staff. The paper Christmas tree was built by Austin Peek. The tree was decorated by Cooper Ford and Myrianua Commander. The snowmen were built by Cooper Ford. The wreath and snowflakes were made by Irland McGuirk. The garland was made by Morgan Jez, Zev Sequerth, Cameron Ison, and the after schools program. The tiny Christmas tree and the tree topper was made by Austin Peek. All of the new decorations were made by repurposed books that were going to be thrown away due to damage. The book creations were a lesson in recycling and how you don’t have to spend lots of money to beautifully decorate for Christmas. The entire project cost nothing to create.
