Veterans Day is good to remember because it’s good to honor our military. Veterans Day was established on the 11th month of the 11th day of the 11th hour. This is because World War I ended that day at that time. Another fun fact is that Veterans Day wasn’t called always called “Veterans Day.” It was once called Armistice Day. Armistice means an agreement made by opposing sides in a war to stop fighting for a certain time; like a truce. It’s good to appreciate our military. So if you see a military person give them a pat on the back for their service.

This picture is Mr.Gentry. A very brave man who has been in the military for over 20 years. You should appreciate your freedom because without men like him you wouldn’t be where you are today.
